AI Policy

FoundSchool offers AI-assisted writing tools and may use AI support in the editorial workflow. This policy explains the difference between user-facing AI tools and editorial assistance.

Effective: Updated:

User-facing AI tools

AI summarizer, grammar checker, and paraphraser pages can send the text you submit to the configured Google Gemini API to generate a result. Do not enter passwords, private messages, legal records, medical records, financial secrets, or other sensitive information.

AI output limitations

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, overly confident, or inappropriate for your context. Review the result before using it, especially for school, work, legal, medical, security, or financial situations.

Editorial use of AI

FoundSchool may use AI to help draft outlines, compare translations, summarize source notes, or improve phrasing. Published policy pages and articles remain the responsibility of the editorial team and must be reviewed before publication.

No invented authority

We do not use AI to invent authors, testimonials, credentials, citations, or review history. Article schema and visible bylines must match information shown on the page.

Data handling reminder

AI tool requests are processed to return the requested result. FoundSchool does not intentionally publish your submitted text, but external service providers may process it to provide the AI response. Review the privacy policy before submitting text.
